Happy Birthday!! Jacob Peter LaCava is officially 1!!!!

Oh my, where did the time go? We can not believe that our little man is one already! We have hit so many milestones in the last year and as of yesterday, he can walk for a short distance without holding on to anything (he was walking all over the portrait studio today). We've gone from wanting to cuddle and hold close to mom and dad to wanting to play by himself and not wanting to be held for too long. He can even talk a little now: 'mama', 'dada', 'g' (I think is for Grandma and Grandpa), 'kiee' (kitty), and 'unee' (monkey). He also started shaking his head 'no' at me today at the portrait studio. This past week he also learned where his eyes, nose and mouth are. Here's a look back on the past year:
