Ft. Wayne Zoo

This past Friday, Jacob and I, along with my good friend Jenny and her son Jack, took a trip to the Ft. Wayne zoo. It was a really cruddy day here in South Bend, but Ft. Wayne had beautiful weather. What an exciting time we had. We spent 4 hours there and still did not see the entire zoo (which gives us good reason to go back next year!). We went on a river ride around the Australian exhibit, walked through the rain forest, and even went for a ride on the carousel (which did not go over too well). I'm sure Jacob had a great time looking at all the animals and having the chance to walk around the zoo and not be in a stroller. He loved the penguins, orangutans, and all the different species of monkeys were a hit (he even wanted to go in and play with the capuchin monkeys and was very angry at me when I wouldn't let him). We will definitely be going back at least once next year!
