Fall Fun

Our trip to Grand Rapids didn't end without an exciting trip to Klackle's Apple Orchard. This place is amazing for kids. They have rides galore (pony, camel, elephant, fire engine, barrel, enchanted pumpkin), there are wagon rides to the orchards, petting zoo, labyrinth mazes, inflatables, pedal tractors, and huge corn maze. We did just about everything! Jacob had such a blast trying out everything and picking apples at the end of the day. Jason and I were extremely surprised that after picking apples, Jacob ate almost a whole apple by himself! I had given him a bite of an apple and then gave it to him to hold, figuring he would do what he does with everything else; throw it on the ground and play soccer with it. After about 5 minutes, we were on our way back to catch the tractor back to the farm and I bent down to pick Jacob up and noticed he had eaten almost half the apple already. We don't know if he was just hungry or if he was really liking the apple. Well, he finished the apple off just in time for him to take a long needed nap (after 4 hours of playing, he was pooped!). We had so much fun that we might have to make this an annual tradition every year.

Having so much fun!

Finding his way through the labyrinth maze
(I love the tounge hanging out!)

Getting ready to drive his barrel...

Then realizing neither mom or dad were there with him.
(That's him turned around trying to eject himself)

Going through the corn maze.

Trying to make daddy understand that he was
going to carry the flag!

Daddy helping Jacob to pick apples.

Picking all by himself!

One more mommy.

Enjoying the fruits of his labor :D

Can't stop with just one bite...

All tuckered out!
