Beautiful Weather!

The weather here has been gorgeous these past few days! Every morning Jacob wakes up and looks out his window to see if there is still snow. The conversation usually goes "Momma, snow, all gone. Outside, play?" We have been outside for four days straight and the little monkey just can't get enough! I'm so glad he likes the outdoors. I am so thankful that we live so close to so many things here: the park, the playground, the waterpark, the riverwalk (about 3 miles of paved walk way around the river), the falls/rapids by the police station (always a hit with the kids) and so much more!

This past Thursday, our first real nice day, we walked down to the park with our neighbors. Last year, Jacob was not sure of all the playground equipment (except the baby swing; he LOVED to swing). This year, he just took off! He saw the slides, yelled 'SWIDE' and took off up the stairs. He was not the least bit scared of the two smaller slides. The larger slide however, I figured might be a problem. Boy was I wrong! Jacob went down the big covered slide once last year and screamed all the way down. This year, the boy almost dove down the slide head first in complete excitment and exclaimed "WHOA" when he reached the bottom. I can't wait to see how he reacts to the waterpark this year!
