I can not even begin to explain on how excited Jacob was to decorate the tree this year. Unfortunately, mommy is not in as much of a hurry to go up in the attic and bring everything down to do so. But with an almost 5 year old in tow, it must get done or I will never hear the end of it and I do have to admit, it is really pretty when it is complete.
Here is our 'before Jacob puts all of his ornaments on the tree' shot. There are three of his ornaments on now that he made at school. He is so proud of his little ornaments and he did such a good job on painting them and putting the glitter on. They will be cherished!
As was a tradition in my household, as was Jason's (and still is), Jacob gets a new Hallmark ornament every year that reflects his love for the year. This year it was nothing other than an airplane! This kid and airplanes...he can not get enough, that is for sure! I hung his ornament on a hook and made him close his eyes before I gave it to him...and he didn't peak either!
He loved it!
