Heart Attack on a Plate

Yes, this dish lives up to it's name.  This is by NO means a healthy dish!!  It is VERY tasty though and one of my husband's favorite dishes.  This is an easy dish to make and you can make it for a reasonable price.

What you need:
~ 2-3 pound Pork Tenderloin
~ 1/2 lb. bacon (if you want a little less bacon, you can cut the strips in half)
~ 1 pint whipping cream (I actually use a quart because we like more sauce)
~ salt and pepper to taste
~ 1/2 box fettuccine

1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.  Cut pork loin into as many pieces as you have bacon.  Wrap bacon around pork pieces and place in baking dish (I used a 9x13).

2. Bake for 35 minutes at 400 degrees.  Drain bacon juice if you prefer.  I leave mine in as it flavors the sauce.  Pour in Whipping Cream and change to broil on high for 10 minutes (make sure pan is on top shelf, but not too close to broiler).

3. Start water boiling after you pour in whipping cream and cook fettuccine according to directions or your taste.

4. Once sauce is bubbling and starting to turn a dark shade of white/yellow, remove from oven (usually about 10-15 minutes).

5. Serve over fettuccine immediately and add salt and pepper to taste (we never need the salt, but a little pepper always adds to it!).
