This year was our first year to decorate a gingerbread house, mostly because it was the first year I could trust that Jacob would actually decorate the house and not eat everything in site. He did such a good job and was quite intricate in the placement of the candies. Unfortunately I did not make the gingerbread house itself - I have been very patient and did not want the easygoing streak to be broken yelling and carrying on trying to glue a house together, PLUS I bought this one on clearance last year after Christmas for under a $1 (complete with candies and icing), so I couldn't make it for that and therefore, well worth the money!
