Broadway!

I remember in 9th grade (yes, it was a while ago and I do remember back that far), when I went to Chicago with my high school band (yep, I'm a band geek and gladly admit it too!) and we got to see Beauty and the Beast on stage! I can still picture it in my head I was so impressed.  When I heard they were coming to South Bend, I batted my eyes at my loving and reluctant husband, who agreed to give some 'culture' to our 4 1/2 year old son! YIPEE!!! This was certainly one of those moments where mommy is much more excited than said son and a WHOLE lot more excited than said husband - but boy do I love him!

Not only was Beauty and the Beast and getting dressed up on the checklist, but so was South Bend Chocolate Company ice cream - which is REALLY Bonnie Doon ice cream!!! YUMMY!!!!

After a couple talks of how NOT to behave in public and 3 hours of 'show', we had one happy, but very cranky little 4 1/2 year old! It was a great show, but next time, I think we are going to opt for a 2:30 show - leaving the theater at 10:15 at night does not go well for tired little boys.
