I must say, Patriot's Point was an awesome experience! You get to see three pieces of history - the USS Yorktown (aircraft carrier), the USS Laffey (Battleship) and the USS Clagamore (submarine). We have been on a submarine before in Muskegon, MI on the USS Silversides, but we have never been on an Aircraft Carrier or Battleship so this was an extra special treat for us. The boys were in seventh Heaven and I must say, I was a bit too. Little Miss just wanted to run around, but she did love the planes and all the buttons!
USS Yorktown
This was where they worked on the torpedoes.
Sleeping quarters - not much room to move around.
If you think the ships themselves are impressive, you should see the amount of wires that run through them. It is an amazing sight to see for sure. I can only imagine the miles and miles and miles of wires that snake through this ship!
One of the many areas of intercoms - this is in the engine room

Battleship - USS Laffey
On the USS Laffey - I was surprised on how cramped the battleship was.
