Friday, January 7, 2011 we went to bed with about 4 inches of snow on the ground and Saturday morning we woke up to almost 20! CRAZY!! Jason had to literally shovel his way to the car and out of the drive to get to work. Jacob and I ventured out into the unknown to clear paths for us to walk and get out if we needed to!
Here is an idea of just how much snow fell in less than 24 hours!
My little measurer - 19" is what the stick says but it is not down to the ground. By the end of the day we were measuring 22-24"!
Where's Jacob? I cannot even put into words on how much fun Jacob had playing in the snow. He was building walk-ways through ours and the neighbor's yards, helped 'shovel' some with his new shovel...
...and even enjoyed making 'perfect' snowballs with his Christmas gift from daddy.
Jacob's loot...
This is the second snow storm that came through, dumping another 4 inches on us Saturday afternoon. We shoveled twice and it was still not enough.
