How did the year go by so quick?

Wow!  Where did the year go?  Or maybe the better questions, where did the last 6 years go?  Our little guy is growing up wayyyyyyy too quick!  He graduated Kindergarten last week and is now officially a 1st grader.    I wish I could say I didn't get emotional about it, but I'd be lying.  I did get a little choked up when he walked across the stage on graduation day and even more so when I picked him up the last day of school.  On to summer!

All ready to graduate!

 A first day/last day of Kindergarten side by side.  He grew just a LITTLE bit (more like a LOT) this year if you look at the fence line behind him!  Even if he still needs a little more improvement on "exhibiting self control" (like his daddy did), he had high marks in every category on his report card and is testing at an almost 2nd grade level in reading and math (he's smart like his daddy too)!
